20 October - 13 November 2021
make some space for you
Yin yoga promotes kindness and ease in the body and mind. A life-changing tool for anybody who is prone to anxiety or worry, struggles to be in the present moment, or is living through challenging times.
Join us for this 3 week Yin Yoga immersion course to discover this slow paced form of yoga and really let go. Open to everybody, with an optional *10 hour add-on YACEP accreditation for Yoga Teachers.
the art of the pause
This calming practice is like setting the reset button for our body and mind. What may seem like a simple practice on the surface is a profound tool for healing and growth.
nervous system reset
Stress, worry, trauma and unprocessed emotions are stored in the muscles and nervous system as tension. By focusing on long slow stretches, Yin works to find release for the nervous system.
Accessible for all
Mostly a floor-based practice, Yin is a great way to enjoy yoga even with physical or health limitations. It can help people who are very stiff increase movement and flexibility in the body.
What our people say
Liezl’s style of teaching yoga is such a fresh & vibrant feel with a sense of lightness to it. You can see she really knows her craft & has gone far beyond to research & has taken the time to go through the proper training. It’s astonishing how she challenges you & at the same time is nurturing.
I enjoyed your serene way of teaching. I felt at ease and receptive. I liked the way you felt comfortable to explore topics even if they are not scheduled for that specific class and I enjoyed the way that you interlinked several topics together. As a student I felt very comfortable interacting with you as you encouraged me to dig more into your knowledge and inspired me to explore more through my own self study.
Liezl created a safe space to explore my body and at times difficult emotions. Thank you Liezl! I look forward to being on the mat with you again moving and breathing with hearts wide open.
Liezl has a deep knowledge of the practice of yoga, but is also open to the opinions and experiences of her students. And because training can bring up some complicated emotional responses along the way, the way Liezl held space and taught me to hold space for myself and others is something I'll always be grateful for. Also she's just a fun person to be around!
ASK US YOUR QUESTIONS
What if I can't afford to pay for the course in full right now?
We are happy to offer payment plans if that would best suit you. We don’t believe there should be any barrier to practice. Please get in touch for more details.
Do I need a separate booking if I'm practising with my housemate/spouse?
Do I need to have my mic and camera on?
No. All mics will be muted by the teacher during the practice to avoid disctraction, so feel free to laugh, chat, cry or play music during your practice. Before and after the class please feel free to turn on your mic to chat to the teacher and fellow students.
How do I join the classes?
Once you've signed up to course you'll recieve joining information for the classes via email several days before the start of the course. All classes will be held on zoom and joining details will be provided to you. Please arrive a few minutes before the class is due to begin to account for any technical trouble.
What platform are the classes hosted on?
All of our classes are live streamed on Zoom in secure and encrypted meetings. Each participant receives a link to enter (which shouldn't be shared) and will enter a waiting room upon arrival. Meeting links are not shared anywhere and so only our students can join. All of these classes are recorded.
Which countries can I join from?
Through the power of the internet you can join from any country. All of our payments are currently processed by Stripe who accept card payments from 135+ countries.
My internet connection isn't great, will I be able to join?
We stream all of our classes via Zoom who will alter the quality of the stream dependant on your internet connection. For example, if you have a good connection you will receive a HD quality image and great audio. If your internet isn't brilliant you will get a reduced quality image but it should still be good enough to participate fully. We recommend an internet connection of at least 1mb/s. You can check the speed of your connection here.
How do I book the course?

Both. There will be plenty of opportunity to explore both the theory and practice of Yin Yoga. Some lectures will be primarily theory based while others will be primarily practical. There is a good balance of both to ensure that you will get the most from your experience.

Yes, absolutely. The beauty of Yin Yoga is that is really can be made accessible to all. Please get in touch with us before the start of the course to tell us about about any injuries, physical or other health limitations that you may have so we can be sure to be able to offer you the appropriate modifications for your practice. Please also check with your doctor or healthcare provider.
I can't join the classes live, can I access the recordings?
If you are joining the course as a student (and not doing the teaching certificate) then you are welcome to catch up on any recordings that you miss live. However, the course is designed to be an immersion, and so we ask you to keep up with the pace of the course and catch up with your missed session before the next live class goes ahead.
